Whether you want to read eBooks on your mobile device or from your desktop, Mobipocket Reader Desktop is the application for you.
Organize your eBook library, collect RSS feeds and your personal eDocs all in one place. Mobipocket Reader Desktop is a flexible and intuitive program, and it's one of the best desktop eBook readers you will find. What makes the eBook features great, is firstly that you can import pretty much any eBook format, which many other readers don't allow.
When reading an eBook, there's full screen mode, you can alter the font, color and background as well as view in full screen mode. Text can be highlighted, nodes added and links imported too. It feels really flexible and genuinely pleasant to use. There are a variety of page views available, and page turning can be done with the cursor keys, space bar or mouse.
The RSS reader is useful, although it's not as well organized as Google's web reader. Stories are opened as if in a browser too, so you see the actual web page, not reformatted text. the search function in Mobipocket Reader Desktop works really well.
The only poor aspect of Mobipocket Reader Desktop is that the dictionary feature only works if you download a one from the Mobipocket eBookstore.
If you want to read books on your PC, Mobipocket Reader Desktop is an excellent app for doing so.

You can install it, but you can't import ebooks. Click "Help"; it takes you here: http://www.mobipocket.com/forum/ There you can read their error message: "The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred." Good luck actually reading an ebook using this software.
The best eReader for downloaders of 'epub' files who want to avoid unnecessary conversions and other limitations.
